  1. And God spoke all these words:
  2. "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
  3. "You shall have no other gods before me.
  4. "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
  5. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
  1. 이 모든 말씀은 하나님이 하신 말씀이다.
  2. "나는 너희를 이집트 땅 종살이하던 집에서 이끌어 낸 주 너희의 하나님이다.
  3. 너희는 내 앞에서 다른 신들을 섬기지 못한다.
  4. 너희는 너희가 섬기려고 위로 하늘에 있는 것이나, 아래로 땅에 있는 것이나, 땅 아래 물 속에 있는 어떤 것이든지, 그 모양을 본떠서 우상을 만들지 못한다.
  5. 너희는 그것들에게 절하거나, 그것들을 섬기지 못한다. 나, 주 너희의 하나님은 질투하는 하나님이다. 나를 미워하는 사람에게는, 그 죄값으로, 본인뿐만 아니라 삼사 대 자손에게까지 벌을 내린다.
  1. but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments.
  2. "You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
  3. "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
  4. Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
  5. but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. on it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates.
  1. 그러나 나를 사랑하고 나의 계명을 지키는 사람에게는, 수천 대 자손에 이르기까지 한결같은 사랑을 베푼다.
  2. 너희는 주 너희 하나님의 이름을 함부로 부르지 못한다. 주는 자기의 이름을 함부로 부르는 자를 죄 없다고 하지 않는다.
  3. 안식일을 기억하여 그 날을 거룩하게 지켜라.
  4. 너희는 엿새 동안 모든 일을 힘써 하여라.
  5. 그러나 이렛날은 주 너희 하나님의 안식일이니, 너희는 어떤 일도 해서는 안 된다. 너희나, 너희의 아들이나 딸이나, 너희의 남종이나 여종만이 아니라, 너희 집짐승이나, 너희의 집에 머무르는 나그네라도, 일을 해서는 안 된다.
  1. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
  2. "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
  3. "You shall not murder.
  4. "You shall not commit adultery.
  5. "You shall not steal.
  1. 내가 엿새 동안 하늘과 땅과 바다와 그 안에 있는 모든 것을 만들고 이렛날에는 쉬었기 때문이다. 그러므로 나 주가 안식일을 복 주고, 그 날을 거룩하게 하였다.
  2. 너희 부모를 공경하여라. 그래야 너희는 주 너희 하나님이 너희에게 준 땅에서 오래도록 살 것이다.
  3. 살인하지 못한다.
  4. 간음하지 못한다.
  5. 도둑질하지 못한다.
  1. "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
  2. "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."
  3. When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance
  4. and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."
  5. Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning."
  1. 너희 이웃에게 불리한 거짓 증언을 하지 못한다.
  2. 너희 이웃의 집을 탐내지 못한다. 너희 이웃의 아내나 남종이나 여종이나 소나 나귀나 할 것 없이, 너희 이웃의 소유는 어떤 것도 탐내지 못한다."
  3. 온 백성이 천둥소리와 번개와 나팔 소리를 듣고 산의 연기를 보았다. 백성은 그것을 보고 두려워 떨며, 멀찍이 물러섰다.
  4. 그들은 모세에게 말하였다. "어른께서 우리에게 말씀하십시오. 우리가 듣겠습니다. 하나님이 직접 우리에게 말씀하시면, 우리는 죽습니다."
  5. 모세가 백성에게 말하였다. "두려워하지 마십시오. 하나님이 당신들을 시험하시려고 나타나신 것이며, 당신들이 주님을 두려워하여 죄를 짓지 못하게 하시려고 나타나신 것입니다."
  1. The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.
  2. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites this: 'You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven:
  3. Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.
  4. " 'Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you.
  5. If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool on it.
  1. 백성은 멀리 떨어져 서 있고, 모세는 하나님이 계시는 먹구름이 있는 곳으로 가까이 갔다.
  2. 주님께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. "너는 이스라엘 자손에게 이렇게 말하여라. '내가 하늘에서부터 너희에게 말하는 것을 너희는 다 보았다.
  3. 너희는, 나 밖에 다른 신들을 섬기려고, 은이나 금으로 신들의 상을 만들지 못한다.
  4. 나에게 제물을 바치려거든, 너희는 흙으로 제단을 쌓고, 그 위에다 번제물과 화목제물로 너희의 양과 소를 바쳐라. 너희가 나의 이름을 기억하고 예배하도록 내가 정하여 준 곳이면 어디든지, 내가 가서 너희에게 복을 주겠다.
  5. 너희가 나에게 제물 바칠 제단을 돌로 쌓고자 할 때에는 다듬은 돌을 써서는 안 된다. 너희가 돌에 정을 대면, 그 돌이 부정을 타게 된다.
  1. And do not go up to my altar on steps, lest your nakedness be exposed on it.'
  1. 너희는 제단에 층계를 놓아서는 안 된다. 그것을 밟고 올라설 때에, 너희의 알몸이 드러나서는 안 되기 때문이다.'"
